The Halloween 2002 protest[?] was a series of protests against the capitalism and war in general, and the planned war on Iraq in particular. The protests were the result of a call to action by the Stop War[?] coalition and other radical socialist, anarchist and communist groups.

United Kingdom Accoring to the UK Independent Media Centre, "[a]round 150 different events included critical mass bike rides[?], occupations, and mass demonstrations in Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and London and many other places."

On October 31, people dressed as ghosts marched on the Parliament of the United Kingdom in London and succeeded in projecting "No war on Iraq" on the Palace of Westminster.

United States Protests in the US were against both the planned invasion of Iraq issue and the Free Trade Area of the Americas agreement currently under negotiation.
