Haaltert

Haaltert is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Denderhoutem[?], Haaltert proper, Heldergem[?] and Kerksken[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Haaltert had a total population of 17,274 (8,563 males and 8,711 females). The total area is 30.59 km² which gives a population density of 564.69 inhabitants per km².
