Gungnir

In Norse mythology, Gungnir was the name of Odin's spear. The spear was built by a dwarf named Dvalin. It was obtained from the dwarves by Loki as a partial reparation for the theft of Sif's hair. In battle, it is a ceaseless slayer of the enemy, never misses its mark, and when thrown always returns to hand.

It is represented by the runic[?] symbol, Gar.
