Dvalin

In Norse mythology, Dvalin was a dwarf, known primarily for having invented runes. He also made Sif's golden wig, Gungnir (a spear) and Skidbladnir (a ship).

Dvalin was also the name of one of the four stags who fed on the tree Yggdrasil.
