Guild Navigator

In the Dune world of Frank Herbert, a Guild Navigator is the human controlling the travel of a Heighliner. The navigators are specially selected for their ability of prescience under the influence of large amounts of Melange. Continous immersion in highly concentrated orange spice gas - which is also their sole nutrient - mutates them to very large heads with atrophied bodies.
