Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner was an award-winning bi-racial comedy movie starring Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, Sidney Poitier, and Katharine Houghton[?]. The movie was about a young white American woman (Houghton) who went on a holiday to Hawaii where she had a whirlwind romance with a black doctor (Poitier); the two will marry and she will return with him to Switzerland. The bulk of the film deals with the daughter's return to her middle-class American home bringing her new fiancé to dinner to meet her parents, and the discrimination that the family faces afterwards.
