Grootegast

Grootegast (population: 12,255) is a town in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Groningen. The municipality covers an area of 88.29 km2 (of which 2.60 km2 water).

The municipality of Grootegast also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Doezum[?], Enumatil[?], Faan[?], Kornhorn[?], Lutjegast[?], Niekerk[?], Oldekerk[?], Opende[?], Sebaldeburen[?].
