Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 90.4 km² (34.9 mi²). 72.2 km² (27.9 mi²) of it is land and 18.3 km² (7.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 20.19% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 545 people, 214 households, and 154 families residing in the township. The population density is 7.6/km² (19.6/mi²). There are 345 housing units at an average density of 4.8/km² (12.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.06% White, 0.00% African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.92% from other races, and 1.83% from two or more races. 1.83% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
