Glenn Shafer

Glenn Shafer authored A Mathematical Theory of Evidence which was published by the Princeton University Press[?] in 1976.

Jeff Barnet introduced the book's theory to the artificial intelligence community in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Barnet dubbed Shafer's theory the Dempster-Shafer theory.
