Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters is a 1984 sci-fi comedy film about three parapsychologists who are fired from a New York University, and start up their own business in "busting" ghosts. It was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis[?], and directed by Ivan Reitman[?]. The film was released in the United States on June 8, 1984, and grossed over $290 million worldwide during its theatrical run. It was followed by the sequel Ghostbusters 2[?] (1989), and the two animated television series The Real Ghostbusters[?] (1988-1990) and Extreme Ghostbusters[?] (1997).
