Ghost Recon

Ghost Recon is a computer game in the tactical shooter genre, inspired by the work of Tom Clancy. Like other Clancy games, it puts players in charge of a military team sent out to protect the people of earth.

Ghost Recon takes place in 2020. Rebels want to bring back the former Soviet Union and civil disorder brakes out in Russia. The player and a team of highly trained NATO soldiers called Ghosts are sent in to secure order in Russia. This involves killing the rebels, swiftly and silently if possible.

The game has two expansion packs. Ghost Recon Desert Siege and Ghost Recon Island Thunder.
