George Robertson

George Robertson (born April 12, 1946) has been Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization since October 1999 (successor to Javier Solana[?]). Formal title: The Right Honourable Lord Robertson of Port Ellen.

Born in Port Ellen[?], Isle of Islay, Scotland. Educated at Dunoon Grammar School[?] and the University of Dundee[?], graduating with MA (honours) in Economics in 1968. Married with three children.
