Gang Starr

Gang Starr is an American hip hop duo, composed of Guru and DJ Premier[?]. Though both have gone on to greater fame as a solo rapper and record producer, respectively, Gang Starr's albums, especially, Step in the Arena[?] (1991, 1991 in music) and Daily Operation[?] (1992, 1992 in music) remain well-respected alternative rap albums that helped establish the sound of jazz rap.
