Games played with Go equipment

Due to the nature of Go equipment--stones differentiated only by their colour, a regular 19x19 board--there are a number of games which can, and often do, make use of Go equipment.

Although the standard size for a Go board is 19x19, there are 13x13 and 9x9 variants available as well. Since Go uses the lines of these boards, they can also be condsidered 18x18, 12x12, and 8x8 if the squares are used. Due to this versatility, a number of games such as Draughts and Crossings[?] which were not originally intended for Go equipment can be trivially adapted; the use of tape or paper to cover sections of the board, creating smaller rectangles, can be used to facilitate play of Philospher's Football and Epaminondas[?].

Like Go itself, many of these games share a certain aesthetic quality; the patterned layouts of half-played games can be viewed from an artistic standpoint.
