Funk and Wagnalls is an American publisher based in New York. It was incorporated by Isaac Kaufmann Funk and Adam Willis Wagnalls in 1890. The company published cheap editions of standard reference works like dictionaries and encyclopedias. Their most memorable publication was The Standard Dictionary of the English Language in 1893 edited by Isaac Kaufmann Funk.
