FSU

Short for 'Former Soviet Union', that is, the following countries:

Russia
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Belarus
Ukraine
Moldova
Georgia
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Kazakhstan
Kyrgyzstan
Uzbekistan
Turkmenistan
Tajikistan

These countries (except Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) now form CIS, the Commonwealth of Independent States.
