Frederick Law Olmsted

Frederick Law Olmsted (1822 - 1900) was an American landscape architect, famous for designing Central Park (New York, New York, 1856+), Mount Royal park in Montreal, and the Boston Metropolitan Parks System[?] (Boston, Massachusetts, 1880s-1890s) and Prospect Park in Brooklyn.. He also designed Belle Isle park in Detroit, Michigan and did the layout for the World Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois.
