Freda Payne

Freda Payne (September 19, 1945) is an American singer and actor.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan and began in the music business singing radio jingles[?]. In 1970 she had her biggest hit, "Band of Gold", which reached number three in the US charts, and number one in the United Kingdom.
