Frank Schmalleger

Frank Schmalleger is the director of the Justice Research Association. In 1974, he received a Ph.D. in sociology (with a special emphasis in criminology) from Ohio State University. He is a professor emeritus at the University of North Carolina, Pembroke. Pembroke has also been affiliated with Webster University[?] and the New School for Social Research[?].

Schmalleger is a member of the Advisory Board of APB News Online[?]. and is founder and co-director of the Criminal Justice Distance Learning Consortium[?]. He is also the founding editor of The Justice Professional[?], and serves as editor for Criminal Justice in the Twenty-first Century[?], as well as Imprint Advisor for the Criminal Justice Reference Series[?].
