FlightGear

FlightGear is a collaborative project that aims to create a sophisticated flight simulator framework licensed under the GNU General Public License. It runs on multiple platforms[?].

The simulation engine in FlightGear is called SimGear[?]. It is being used in academic and research environments, for the development and pursuit of other interesting flight simulation ideas and as an end-user application.
