Fibronectin

Fibronectins are proteins that bind themselves to receptor proteins[?] called integrins and to the cell's extracellular matrix. They are used by cells to bind the extracellular matrix to the plasma membrane of the cell by stongly binding to integrins which are proteins that span the cell's membrane.
