Fibrinolytic

The fibrinolytics are a class of pharmaceuticals that act as thrombolytics by activating plasminogen[?] to form plasmin[?]. Activated plasmin degrades fibrin and so breaks up thrombi. The fibrinolytics are used in thrombolytic therapy of myocardial infarct and pulmonary embolisation[?].
