Fairport Convention

Fairport Convention is, along with Steeleye Span, one of the defining acts of British folk rock during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The folk influence gradually faded in their later work.

The Fairport Convention's best-known songs include "Matty Groves[?]", and their best-received album is Liege and Lief[?].
