Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 93.3 km² (36.0 mi²). 76.4 km² (29.5 mi²) of it is land and 16.9 km² (6.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 18.16% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 412 people, 157 households, and 114 families residing in the township. The population density is 5.4/km² (14.0/mi²). There are 367 housing units at an average density of 4.8/km² (12.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 95.87% White, 0.24% African American, 0.73% Native American, 0.97% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 2.18% from two or more races. 0.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 157 households out of which 33.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.2% are married couples living together, 3.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.8% are non-families. 22.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.62 and the average family size is 2.97.
