Ethnic Albanian
An ethnic Albanian (usually simply called Albanian) is someone who is considered by himself or others to be Albanian. Characteristics are:
- Cultural connection with Albanian culture
- Speaking the Albanian language
- Having ancestors who lived in Albania or an area that at the time was part of Albania or otherwise considered Albanian
Ethnic Albanians form an important minority group in several central and eastern European countries.
