Erzulie

In Vodun, Erzulie is the goddess of love, beauty, jewelry, dancing, luxury and flowers. She wears three wedding bands, one for each husband: Damballa, Agwe and Ogoun. She is often represented by a water snake.

Under the name Erzulie Ge-Rouge, she appears curled up, crying for the shortness of life and limitations of love.
