Erasure

Erasure is a British synth pop duo, consisting of Vince Clarke (synthesizers, music; formerly of Depeche Mode and Yazoo) and Andy Bell[?] (vocals, lyrics).

Erasure burst onto the music scene in 1986 with their hit "Sometimes" which reached number two in the British charts, and have had a number of hits throughout the 1980s and 1990s including:

  • "Sometimes"
  • "A Little Respect"
  • "Blue Savannah"
  • "Love To Hate You"
  • "Victim of Love"
  • "Chorus"
  • "Take a Chance on Me" (cover version of ABBA song)
  • "Stop!"
