English Regency

The English Regency, or simply Regency, is a name typically given to a period from 1811 to 1820 in the history of the United Kingdom.

During this time the Prince Regent, later King George IV of the United Kingdom, governed the United Kingdom during the incapacity of his father, King George III of the United Kingdom.
