Eenadu

Eenadu is the largest circulated Telugu news daily with a subscription of more than 700,000. Eenadu(Today) has been founded by the Indian media baron Ramoji Rao in 1982. It has been playing a dynamic role in both crowning or dethroning governments in Andhra Pradesh. It has also successfully adapted latest publishing/communication technologies to the Indian language Telugu.

When the satellite TV revolution broke up in India, in the late 1990s, Eenadu started with its own channel called E TV[?], initially in Telugu and slowly diverisfied into other Indian languages Bengali, Urdu, Kannada, Gujarathi[?] and Marathi.
