Eddie Izzard
Eddie Izzard (born February 7, 1962) is a British stand-up comedian and actor. He has a very individual style of rambling, surreal monologue, and does shows in both French and English.
Izzard calls himself an "executive transvestite" (his emphasis) and says "I'm a male tomboy. That's where the sexuality is". He regularly cross-dresses on stage and makes clear that cross-dressing is, for him, not a sexual thing.
He was born in Aden, Yemen, as the youngest son of John and Ella Izzard. He grew up in Bangor (Northern Ireland), Skewen[?] (Wales), and Bexhill-on-Sea (East Sussex, England).
His most recent tour was named Circle.
