Ecteninion is a genus of meat-eating ‘mammal-like reptile’, (Therapsids), which lived during the lower Upper Triassic of South America. It’s affinities are unclear, but it seems to be related to Probainognathus.
Genus: Ecteninion Martinez RN, May CL & Forster CA, 1996
Species: Ecteninion lunensis Martinez RN, May CL & Forster CA, 1996
Place: Ischigualasto Formation
Country: Argentina
