EADS Space Transportation

The EADS Space Transportation was formed in June 2003 from the Space Infrastructure division of Astrium and the EADS Launchers and Vehicles division (formerly Aerospatiales Space division).

The Space Transportation division is responsible for the Ariane launcher, the Columbus orbital facility and the ATV, as well as number of smaller projects.

It also builds launchers for the French nuclear missle program (see also Military of France).
