Don Gibbs

Don Gibbs b. Springfield, IL, is a comedian and founder of the improv comedy group Far From Kansas. He began his career as a sports writer for a Springfield newspaper, where his articles were picked up by the New York Times wire service. He moved to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in 1997. He worked in production of various television shows until being selected as a cast member for Comedy Sportz[?], a legendary D.C. area improv group. After five years of studying improv methodology and technique, he branched off and formed his own group, Far From Kansas. He is openly gay, and lives with his lover of many years, Loyle, in D.C. proper.
