Discourse

In semantics, discourses are linguistic units composed of several sentences. In other words, a conversation or a speech. The term is often used together with the word 'learned' as in 'The Professor delivered a learned discourse on the obscure art of Lobster spotting.' discourse analysis is the study of discourse, treats of bound and free pronouns, missing parts and maxims of conversation.
