Deliberative body

A deliberative body is an organization which collectively makes decisions after debate and discussion. Examples of deliberative bodies include legislatures, boards of directors, or administrative bodies[?]. Typically a decision by the body is made by means of a resolution which is passed after debate using rules of order such as Robert's rules of order.
