De Ronde Venen (population: 34,421) is a municipality in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The municipality covers an area of 84.84 km² (of which 27.30 km² water). The municipality of De Ronde Venen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Amstelhoek[?], De Hoef[?], Mijdrecht[?], Vinkeveen[?], Waverveen[?], Wilnis[?].
