The Dawn of the Dead was the second film in George Romero[?]'s Living Dead series of films (after Night of the Living Dead). The plot concerns a small group of living humans who, after the collapse of society because of a zombieplague, create a sanctuary in a shopping mall. The film satirises and parodies materialism, and was followed by Day of the Dead.
