Dark Eyes

Dark Eyes (alsoknown as Oci ciornie and Ochi chyornye) is a 1986 Italian and Russian language film which tells the story of a 19th century married Italian who falls in love with a married Russian woman. It stars Marcello Mastroianni, Marthe Keller[?], Yelena Safonova[?], Pina Cei[?] and Vsevolod Larionov[?].

The movie was adapted by Aleksandr Adabashyan[?], Susan Cecchi[?] and Nikita Mikhalkov[?] from stories by Anton Chekhov. It was directed by Mikhalkov.

It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
