Culebra, Puerto Rico

Culebra is a small island off the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. It belongs to Puerto Rico, and has a small airport with domestic service to the mainland and to Vieques.

Culebra's airport is served by Air Culebra from San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, and by Vieques Air Link from San Juan, Fajardo and Vieques.

Culebra is also a popular weekend touristic spot with Mainland Puerto Ricans, Americans and residents of Vieques.

Like Vieques, Culebra has suffered bombings by the US Military[?], although to a much lesser extent. Unlike Vieques, there has not been any protests or activity against these bombings.
