Crnobog

In Slavic mythology[?] Crnobog (pr. Tser-nah-bog, to rhyme with There-are-not, in its Balkan[?] spelling) was the god of evil and darkness, in opposition to Bielbog[?]. His name means "The Black God" (Balkan Crno "black" and Bog "god", existing the word bog in many Slavic languages). Other spellings: Chernobog (in Latin characters, transliterated from Cyrillic).
