Courtrai

Courtrai (Kortrijk in Dutch) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Courtrai proper and the towns of Aalbeke[?], Bellegem[?], Bissegem[?], Heule[?], Kooigem[?], Marke[?] and Rollegem[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Courtrai had a total population of 74,790 (36,537 males and 38,253 females). The total area is 80.80 km² which gives a population density of 925.62 inhabitants per km².
