Corse-du-Sud

Corse-du-Sud is a French département, number 2a. Southern part of the Corsica island.

The département was formed in 1975, when the Corse département (n°20) was divided between Haute-Corse (2b) and Corse-du-Sud (2b).

Préfecture (capital): Ajaccio.
