The term 'Conservation ecology' covers a very wide range of subjects, basically, any part of ecology that has a bearing on conservation. The terms 'Ecology' and 'Conservation' are frequently used interchangeably, but, although ecologists are frequently also conservationists, this does not neccesarilly have to be the case.
