Columbia Township, Hamilton County, Ohio

Columbia Township is a township of eastern Hamilton County, Ohio. As of 2000 the total population is 4,617, and only about 2.5 miČ (about 1800 acres) remain in the unincorporated township. Most of the original township has been absorbed by expanding urban areas. Geography The remaining township is discontinuous, consisting of enclaves within the surrounding towns and some lands not suitable for development. The Little Miami River[?] flows through the township and some areas with steep hillsides on the river's edge are not suitable for development. The towns and cities that today occupy most of the township include Cincinnati (west and south), Madeira (northwest), Indian Hill (north). The remaining boundaries are shared with Clermont County (east) and Anderson Township (south).
