Colima

Colima is a state in western Mexico, as well as the name of the capital city of the state.

The State of Colima is a small state, bordering the Mexican states of Jalisco to the north and west, and Michoacan to the south. To the west Colima borders the Pacific Ocean. In addition to the capital city of Colima, the state of Colima includes the cities of Manzanillo and Tecomán. The state has an area of 5,455 square km, with an estimated population in 2003 of about 571,000 people.

ISO 3166-2 is MX-COL.

The City of Colima is located at 19.24°N, 103.73°W. In 2003 the city had an estimated population of about 125,400 people.
