Claudine is a 1974 film which tells the story of a Harlem mother, living on welfare with six children, who finds love with a garbage collector. It stars Diahann Carroll, James Earl Jones, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs[?] and Roxie Roker[?].
The movie was written by Lester Pine[?] and Tina Pine[?], and directed by John Berry[?].
It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress (Diahann Carroll).
