On May 25, 2002 she married Matthew Vaughn, the biological son of George Albert Harley Drummond and Cathy Ceaton. Matthew Vaughn took his surname from actor Robert Vaughn, who played Napoleon Solo in the television series The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and who was intimately involved with Cathy Ceaton at the time of Matthew's conception and birth. The paternity of Matthew Vaughn was resolved in the eighties in America, both scientifically and legally, in the Superior Court of Los Angeles. Following this resolution, Matthew adopted (for private use) the name Matthew de Vere Drummond.

George Albert Harley Drummond is a descendant of the Earls of Oxford and Mortimer, and is in the line of succession to several titles: however, none of these can be passed on to his son Matthew Vaughn, as illegitimate children cannot inherit them.

The son of Claudia Schiffer and Matthew de Vere Drummond (formerly Vaughn), named Caspar Matthew, was born in London on January 30, 2003.
