Chico Heat

The Chico Heat is a minor league baseball team, operating in Chico, California in the Western Baseball League. It is an Independent franchise, with no operating agreement with any Major League Baseball team.

The team began operations in 1997. The team immediately won the league championship in their inaugural season and, although they have not won a championship since then, they have won the most regular season games in each of the last four years.

The team plays at Nettleton Stadium[?], which is located on the campus of California State University at Chico[?].
