Chess or the King's game

Chess or the King's game is a book on chess published in 1616. It was a major work for its time and substantially increased the reputation of the author Augustus der Jungere[?], Duke of Luneburg[?].

This book is the earliest known to use Selenus[?] type chess pieces.
