Charles Sherwood Noble

Charles Sherwood Noble (-July 5, 1957) was an immigrant to southern Alberta from North Dakota, pushed into bankruptcy by poor harvests and low grain prices.

He invented the Noble Cultivator[?], or the Noble Blade[?], that reduces topsoil loss due to wind that results from other means of cultivating.

Note: large discrepancies among various accounts of his life.
